Dear Friends,

Thinking that this site is rather old hat nowadays but you will, no doubt, be delighted to know that it is under revision and being redesigned and everything! When we say the new site will be up in the next couple of months we really do mean that that is our fond hope. Stay tuned .... We are .... Fingers crossed ....

Circus Tricks

Unable to bear the pain of her secret love for Jack The Knife, Tanya the knifethrower's assistant decides to kill herself. Barney, the circus pony, just dreams of running in straight lines. Alice, the adolescent trapeze artist, longs for the deadly sensation of falling. All of them trapped in endless repetitions of that which is agony to them until the moment of crisis ...

The short piece, The Agony Of The Knifethrower's Assistant, that the remarkable Mike Henry and Adey wrote last year has been expanded into a theatre piece. And the wonderful Tête À Tête opera company is putting it all on stage at their Summer Festival this year. And Adey and Mike will be singing Tanya and Jack!

It will be on August 1 at 7pm at the Riverside Studios, Hammersmith.

More Summer stuff

If you fancy coming along to Circus Tricks at the Riverside on August 1 (details in other entry), why not make whole evening of it?

On August 1 following Circus Tricks at 7pm, the extraordinary Lore Lixenberg is performing a new piece by Brian Inglis at 8.30pm. Then at 10pm both of them are joining the notorious Richard Thomas in The Emergency Recital - another romp through his collection of 1001 Songs About Anything.

If you book for all three events there is a reduced ticket price and even a meal deal at the lovely Riverside Bar and Kitchen.
